Okay, without further ado, here's my post!
Yes. I know. Loads of people are doing this book. But the boy who made my childhood was one who never had one. When I was younger, this book was a great bed time story that I looked forward to. Magic and Wizards and chocolate frog cards! But as I've grown older I've realised the under lying message: being different is not bad. There is always a world in which you belong. J.K. also shows the true meaning of friendship.
Rowling also uses foreshadowing in a way I've never seen. Her use of small details that are seemingly unimportant and bringing them back in books further ahead in huge plots.
Thank You so much Joanne Kathleen Rowling, for inspiring my childhood and teaching the lessons that no-one else could.
